Found this great coin by DeLong Lake a couple weeks (I hate it when I forget to log coins!). Will move along soon with photos (the best part of TBs :) ).

Time to say good-bye after visiting three oceans and a foreign country. Happy travels toward reaching the Southern and Indian Oceans!

It took awhile, but I finally got this cute penguin to the Arctic Ocean. I drove it to Pt. McIntyre for views of the still frozen ocean and Northstar (a manmade oil development island). We also stopped by the Prudhoe Bay Monument near the Trans Alaska Pipeline System’s Pump Station 1, the first pump station of a series that moves crude oil from Prudhoe Bay to Valdez for loading onto southbound tankers.. We looked for polar bears, but settled for a red fox. Even though it’s late April, it still feels like winter up here. Today it was +5° F with wind chill of -10° F. It was fun taking the whale to three of the world's oceans and I'll now turn it loose to swim freely to warmer waters. Thanks for sharing the coin.

We took the whale to Mexico to see if it could catch up with any of its brethren that overwinter in the waters, but we didn´t see any from this vantage point. Really...we do intend to get this whale to the Arctic Ocean off Prudhoe Bay!

I’ve had this coin out of circulation WAY too long and will get it back into play during the next two weeks. I dipped it through a cache at one of our favorite Anchorage locations and posted a photograph of the coin enjoying a gorgeous sunny 20° F day at Potter Marsh which feeds into Cook Inlet. I had every intention of getting the coin to the Arctic Ocean during the past year, but work didn't cooperate.
