    Work conspired to take me over the north pole to France, so I took the whale swimming along the Normandy coast at Omaha Beach. The whale frolicked in the English Channel for awhile before we moved on.

    Denali National Park is 200 miles from Cook Inlet and it would be quite a swim for the whale to make it to the bearing sea via the Nenana to the Tanana to the Yukon River, so we'll help keep it moving.
