    The Northern Right Whale's headed back north to Alaska... who knows what ocean we can find up there!

    • At Point Vicente Interpretive Center... gray whale Paid a visit to one of California's premier viewing points for observing gray whales during their migrations to and from Baja Mexico and Alaska.

    After a brief visit to Alaska, the Northern Right Whale packed up and flew south. Cruising to Mexico, we spotted several gray whales near San Diego. Today here at 'La Bufadora' we heard the 'legend' that implies the blowhole was created by a gray whale calf (not true!), and admired both the blowhole action and the beautiful coastal scenery.

    • Flowers along the northern Pacific coast of Baja The Northern Right Whale geocoin is on the ledge at bottom of photo... just out of the photo! I was so focused on the flowers I missed making sure I got the geocoin in this shot at La Bufadora.

    This Northern Right Whale's bound for Alaska... and certainly a photo with the North Pacific, and perhaps a visit to San Diego and Mexico in the near future. In the meantime - North to Alaska!
