Current Goal

To travel the Trans-Canada Highway from West to East and return again.

About This Item

I would like to travel the breadth of Canada from West to East staying as close to the Trans-Canada Highway as possible. I am starting out at the Saanich View - Finlayson Arm Geocache near Victoria and would like to someday return there. Hopefully I'll get a chance to take some pictures and post them here!

Found in Niagara Falls Urban Oasis cache (GCRCJG). Will move to a location closer to the Trans Canada Highway (just west of Toronto). Getting closer to its desired route.

Found this guy at Camper's Delight in Colorado. My daughter was thrilled because she collects hippos. We'll get him as close to Canada as we can.

If this were one of our "normal" years we could take Happy Hippo straight to Whidbey Island, where we spend most of the summer. But because we are not going to the Pacific Northwest this year, Happy Hippo will have to be happy with a more circuitous route. We'll try to get him a little farther north very soon.
