About This Item

I picked up these spunky-traveling Kippers at the Sarge II cache (WGS-84) in Kirkwood, New York in July of 2002. They've been bouncing around with me and keeping me company all summer and now that they've been fitted with a travel bug, they're ready to head out on their own. The Kippers were originally released in September of 2000 at the "Kippers in the Jungle Cache" (N 55deg 45.244 E 12deg 26.554) near Copenhagen, Denmark and they've been heading west ever since. Please take care of these guys, they've been traveling for a long time, and they've still got a lot of sights to see. Happy caching,

Picked up the Kippers while out to dinner with JungleHair and Brogan. Poor waitress, she had to put up with alot from 3 geocachers. 😉 Oh well, WE had a good time. 🙂
Hopefully will get Kippers out in a couple of days.

Checked on my new cache Sunday morning. It was a night cache set up for our geocaching picnic. I noticed that no one had picked up the travelbug, so decided to take it with me and will place in a cache further west.

The kippers were placed in the cache, Lost Flatlander. Hopefully they will be transported west quickly and if not they'll at least be around for this year's Christmas tree sale.
