Current Goal

This simple staff is not to be owned, but to be shared. Use it for a while and add your mark if you wish carve it. Paint it. Adorm it and then pass it on. Hide it in a bushwacker-worthy spot near a cache in Brevard or Central Florida, and post the coordinates in the cache or on the page. It is fair to find it more than once, but give others a chance too.

About This Item

Bushwacker's Bonus

This "bug" was started by Capaldo and I was the first stop on its journey. As part of my adornment to the stick I placed a travel bug tag on it so it's path can be documented. Treat it well!

Retrieve It from a Cache 12/1/2004 Rogue23 retrieved it from No More Hurricanes Hullabaloo Florida   Visit Log

The stick and I had a great time at the Hullabaloo tonight! Well, almost. Everything was going great until somehow, and I shudder at the thought of this, but SOMEHOW the stick ended up down Ham Man's pants.

Don't ask.

Fear not - The stick isn't staying in PA... only visiting. It will be home in time for the Hullabaloo - http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=374f30c7-4c49-449a-9375-7befb347bf83

BTW... I was hoping to do a lot more cool caches here, but ThePropers' (my hosts) geomobile has broken down on us 3 times in the past 4 days. I'm sure it would be a perfect 4 for 4 in stranding us while caching had it not spent ALL DAY in the shop Wednesday.

Best car ever!

Retrieve It from a Cache 11/17/2004 Rogue23 retrieved it from Rockville Stone Arch Pennsylvania   Visit Log

Built in 1902, the Rockville Bridge (located just north of Harrisburg, PA) remains the longest stone arch bridge in the world. The stick and I had a great view of the bridge and the surrounding area from up here.

  • Pointing to the Rockville Bridge
  • Life-saving stick!

After exploring this great abandoned town with the ThePropers all day, I found another use for the stick - turns out it works great for car repairs. Ok, not really. But it did help push the car up onto the tow truck!

Stupid ThePropers stupid cachemobile breaking down.

  • Miracle car repair stick?
  • So long, cachemobile!

Took the stick to a Ghost Town today. This may be the single coolest place geocaching has taken me to date. See my log for more info and pics: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LUID=21766a0b-9f91-4eb1-9455-cc222fb25ccf

  • On my way to the Ghost Town
  • Nice place for lunch
  • What's left of the old railroad bridge
  • The stick made this an easy climb!
