Current Goal

This simple staff is not to be owned, but to be shared. Use it for a while and add your mark if you wish carve it. Paint it. Adorm it and then pass it on. Hide it in a bushwacker-worthy spot near a cache in Brevard or Central Florida, and post the coordinates in the cache or on the page. It is fair to find it more than once, but give others a chance too.

About This Item

Bushwacker's Bonus

This "bug" was started by Capaldo and I was the first stop on its journey. As part of my adornment to the stick I placed a travel bug tag on it so it's path can be documented. Treat it well!

It was really nice to see this stick again in the glades. I'm glad life is treating it well.

Retrieve It from a Cache 1/23/2005 TeamSnook retrieved it from GCMGZ3 Florida   Visit Log

Guess what? Some vagabonds from the South came up there and got your stick! I will show it off in South Florida for a few weeks before bringing it back to Camelot.

The stick (instructions) has been retrieved by TeamSnook.

To get the stick, you will need to:

  1. Find GCMGZ3 - http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=814b0c1f-c420-4754-aae4-567f1db64b73
  2. Subtract 56 and add 5 from/to GCMGZ3's final N and W coordinates respectively.
  3. Go to the resulting coordinates and find the arrow within the triangle.
  4. Walk 25 paces (maybe 30 for you short folks) in the direction the arrow is pointing.

There you will find instructions on how to claim the stick. Depending how long this takes, the instructions may be weathered. In that case, email me an exact description of what the instructions are written on, and I will fill in the blanks for you.

Lastly, once you find the instructions, please change the arrow to an "X" so other cachers know not to bother searching for something that isn't there.

Those of you who have already had the stick, feel free to go find my cool triangle arrow and the instructions, but please leave them for someone who hasn't had the stick yet.

Have fun!

I had better get this thing back to Florida before I get in even more trouble 😁

Sorry I've had the stick for so long. I've done way too much travelling and haven't finished adorning it yet. I really will try to get it back out in the Brevard County wilderness soon - honest!

At least I've taken the stick to some cool places... And yes, I realize it looks different than usual in this photo, but that's just the altitude affecting your eyes 😉
