I'm a turtle from Kaua'i and I usually like to stay close to home... but home can be anywhere near water where I can swim and play, so send me on my way! I like to eat seaweed and I surf, too. Keep me near the water where I can find food, but I'm interested in traveling all over.

We retrieved Homer Honu from Foot of the Castle before this past winter and he came all the way over to northern California to overwinter (he's a beautiful turtle and we're sorry he stayed with us so long!). This summer he went with us to the Baltic Sea (Isle of Ruegen, Germany) but found the water a bit too chilly for his liking.... so he came back. He found a small land turtle friend that he's now traveling with and maybe he's heading out to sea again... we parted ways with him in Monterey, CA (Veteran's Park to Hall) so he could journey again. - TEAM MARP
