About This Item

Holy Ammo Can, Batman!

This TB is called "Multi-Bug Riddler" because it is like a multi-cache using a riddle to find its location. It was inspired by the "Hide and Seek" TB by OzGuff in North Carolina.

There are two components to this travel bug -- a logbook that is hidden in a cache and the actual TB tag (stripped down for stealthiness, with a magnetic back and rubber band tether) that is hidden within 50 yards of the cache/logbook. The logbook contains a riddle pointing to the tag's location.

DO NOT TAKE THE LOGBOOK UNLESS YOU'VE LOCATED THE TAG!

[Picture : Riddler never goes anywhere without his logbook and can of deet!]

When you first find this travel bug: post your find here and include the riddle and answer that led you to the tag.

When you rehide the TB in another cache:
1) hide the tag within fifty yards of the new cache.
2) compose a new riddle for the tag location.
3) place the riddle logbook in the cache container.
4) log the "drop" here, online.

The riddle which guided me to the find:

Q: Along the top I run to and fro
Check the near post, in the spot down low.

A: The bottom of the first fence post which runs across the top of the dam.

Funny story: As I was looking for the Breeder cache I made a first pass by some of the places where I thought the cache would be located. Not having any luck I decided to dump my jacket and hip pack and continue my search. A few minutes later I found the cache and the log book for this bug only to find I had put my jacket and pack down on top of the tag -- literally. I actually had to pick up my jacket to see the tag!
