About This Item

Sundance is a sundial consisting of a thin ring which is its own gnomon. A single hole in the ring allows sunlight to fall on the inner surface to read the time. Sundance wants to see the daylight as often as possible. Hold it in your hand and it is going to dance in the sun.

  • Sundance at work With the owner's permission I could hold this TB a bit longer to celebrate my one-year anniversary as geocacher. I have placed it exactly on this day in the cache "Klinten". Few weeks ago I have tested the sundial - really it enjoyed the sun and started to dance! As expected it worked properly and showed the precise time.

I was taking it to Hagen today, hoping to be able to log as a special event the takeover of the yellow shirt by Jan Ulrich. But it wasn't ment to be.<br>
