About This Item

This travel bug reminds me of how important money and trade is to a healthy society. When I was a child, I could buy a chocolate bar with a quarter (25 cents). How many quarters must you put in a vending machine to buy a candy bar today? Why has the price increased so much? I wonder how many quarters I'll need to pay for a candy bar when I retire? If I knew the answer to that million dollar question, I'd be able to tell if my savings plan is on track.

How many times have you found a PENNY gum ball machine? By the time you retire, the penny may be a coin of the past. Thanks for starting this TB. We will probably be placing it in the Minneapolis area.
