Current Goal

This bug's goal is to flutter around on the ground (not fly) within Canada to Olive Lake Canada Cache (GCG1TM) in British Columbia, picking up stories and pictures about Canada all the way, then head south into the States again so people can read and see info about Canada through BGR's story.

About This Item

Leaf on a tree2

BGR's original plan was to head north to Britsh Columbia then east through Canada, but went east across the States first, so plans changed.

Like BGOR, this bug is named by its colors: Blueberry Grape Raspberry (BGR), so it has odd colors for a Canadian leaf.

Please do not add an additional instruction tag to it. It has (should have) an instruction tag on it already that says it wants to travel by ground. After it reaches its current goal it will have a new one. An additional instruction tag will just confuse the issue.

Does BGR stand for bigger, because it's a leaf that wants to be more than a temporary light-gathering surface? Maybe :-)

After it reaches the BC cache, its next goal will be to go somewhere in the States, maybe Florida.

BGR the leaf had been with me for about 10 months now, I had continued to forget to take him with me. Not this time. I had a wonderful trip to Labrador where I would drop him off in the TB hotel. Lo and behold I couldn't find the cache. I did snap a picture of him sitting in a tree in the Labrador wilderness. He enjoyed it. He also enjoyed getting out of my house finally.

  • BGR, resting in a tree in the Labrador Wilderness We hunted and hunted but this was the only place BGR got to relax for a bit. I ended up toting him back to the Rock to be placed in an easy cache back here. Goodbye old buddy!
