For The Love Of The Game...

This is a travalling cache dedicated to BASEBALL!! The bug's goal is to travel over the U.S. and Canada in search of everything baseball. (See detailed description below)

This is the exact wording on the sheet in the cache:


“For The Love of the Game…”

- This is a traveling cache dedicated to the greatest game in all of history: BASEBALL!

- This travel cache wishes to go all over the country and into Canada seeking out baseball related items (i.e. games, parks, players, monuments, etc…).

Pictures are more than welcome. Either place them in the attached zip lock bag or email them to: teamhawaii@yahoo.com

· RULES!!!

1) Do not remove the travel bug or log from the cache.
2) If you take baseball cards replace them with an equal number of cards.
3) All items placed in the cache must be baseball related.
4) NO PICTURES ARE TO BE TAKEN FROM ZIPLOCK BAG!
5) LOG MUST BE SIGNED BY ALL!

· SPECIAL TASKS

- These are tasks that want greatly to be completed in the travel cache’s wanderings. A picture is required for completion of these tasks. Again, place them in the zip lock bag or email them to: teamhawaii@yahoo.com. Put your name on the back of the picture. (check when completed)

1) Picture of the cache next to Ted Williams’ plaque in the Hall of Fame _______
2) Picture of cache next to Babe Ruth’s plaque in Hall of Fame. _______
3) Cache in picture of view from Fenway’s “Monster Seats” _______
4) Picture of cache taken with a major league player (preferably a star) ________
5) Picture of cache with a major league mascot ________
6) Picture in or near McCovey’s Cove (Giants) ________
7) Picture in Minute Maid Park (Astros) near train, arches, or CF pole _________
8) Picture of cache enjoying a beer at Brewer park _________
9) Picture with a good view of Safeco’s Outfield (Mariners) _________
10) Picture in each of the major league Parks (list on reverse side) _________


Some other suggestions: key chains of favorite teams, cards, pictures of childhood parks, kids playing ball in yards, other major league points of interest, ANYTHING BASEBALL!

CACHE WANTS TO RETURN TO MASSACHUSETTS BY SEPTEMBER 2006 WITH EVERYTHING COMPLETED!!!
