I am in a race that starts October 22, 2016 at the 12th Annual Florida Finders Fest and goes to October 21, 2017 at the 13th Annual Florida First Finders Fest.
I need to gain as many miles as I can and then return to the Ocala National Forest in Ocala, Florida.
Please do not put me in hard to do or seldom found caches as I need to continue to move and pick up many many miles to win this race.
Please DO NOT hold onto me, keep me moving!

#446. There was a fella fishing directly in front of GZ. Luckily he walked away when he saw me approaching. On my way back, I saw he had recast his line closer to the houses. When he saw me the 2nd time, he took off again and went straight to his vehicle. I didn't realize I'm so scary.
All is well with the cache.

#443. FTF #30.
I came here to try for the FTF. Spent almost an hour, expanded my search area, and still came up empty-handed.
Rainbows have come to be very special to me, as they often appear at stressful times after my sister passed. This week has been a tough one. Normally GeoCaching is my therapy. So I was particularly annoyed about DNFing this after a 45 minute drive and a futile hour-long hunt around GZ.
I drove off to find another one. Due to a crazy mixup, I actually ended up mistakenly finding this cache in a completely different location. As I set my eyes on this FTF, a rainbow formed in the sky. Then it grew to a full rainbow and a partial double. By that time, I had finished signing the log. As I drove away, the rainbows disappeared. They came and went at the exact time I spent at the cache.
Obviously this could be coincidence, but people find comfort in outlandish/illogical things all the time. I felt like my sister got this FTF with me. So...favourite point earned!

#442. Saw this new cache posted and didn't want to drive this far...but sometimes a couple hours of road therapy is the only thing that relieves stress headaches. So, I figured I'll give it a shot. A little more than 100ft to GZ I heard some crunching and snapping in the brush ahead of me. Stopped and kept an eye for any charging wildlife. Luckily it was only some cachers. Unluckily the vaFarley duo was heading back after getting the FTF. STF will do just fine. Nice to put new faces to another name I recognize.
Coords are pretty accurate.
All is well with this newborn.
