I found my Series-2 Moun10Bike coin at "The World as Runhills likes to see it". I have since traded it for a Series-1 Coin so I am still in search of a Series-2 coin for my collection.

I did this cache with the Got Coin group organized by Nolenator.

I arrived at the trailhead about 45 minutes early, so I headed up the road to check out the gates for the alternate routes in. Just maybe one would be open and I could surprise the group by waiting for them at the cache. No such luck, all the gates were closed (but as I found out later not locked).

When I arrived back at the trailhead the group was already there. I gathered my pack and GPS and we headed up the road.

We stopped at GEM's "Just me, my dog & God" cache along the way then headed on to our destination for the day. Global Girl had gone on ahead as she had her own milestone to log.

As we approaced the cache, Global Girl was just getting ready to put it away. She could see us in the distance and warned us she still had the cache out, so we waited for her to put it back before proceeded up the hill to the cache site.

I want to thank everyone for letting me go first to find the cache. It just wouldn't have been the same had this been a group find. Each of us found the cache one by one and walked away. Only after everyone had found it did we retreive it.

Grabbed a Travel Bug that is heading for a cache in my neck of the woods, and a Missouri Geocoin.

I left a Washington Geocoin, which I asked everyone to leave in the cache, as well as a YJTB that I've been holding onto for far to long.

Several Washington Geocoins were left in the cache, and I beleive at least one and possibly more were not immediatly snapped up by others in the group. If you didn't get in on the initial order, here's your chance! Of course, you will have to find a Moun10Bike coin first.

Found this with the Got Coin group. Since this one was on the way, most of us stopped and did this one first. My maps show this trail as a road, and apparently it use to be so from a couple of the items we found along the way.

Took Nothing, Left a Travel Bug that seems to have been logged already so I can't drop it here.

I found the cache fairly quickly. It's a good thing too, this trail is very busy. I took the cache to a nearby bench to sign the log, and then replaced it once the trail was clear.

Thanks for the quick find. I needed to grab three quick finds on my way up to meet the group going for Got Coin. I wanted to make that cache my 1000th find. I was hoping this one would be a fairly easy to find, and once I found the proper parking location was not dissapointed.

I don't know if I was there before or after the cache owner, but this time I found Twiggy. It helps that I got a clue from another local cacher.

Twiggy seems to have put on a bit of weight lately 😁. I tried to put her back exactly as I found her. While the coordinates do seem to be a bit off, they are not that far off. I should have found this the first time, I just got pre-occupied with my own pre-conceived idea about where I thought the cache would be.

A quick find. I signed the log and put it back quickly before it detonated.

The blackberries tried to steal my hat, but other than that it was an uneventfull easy find. Nice paint job on that box!

Who says there is no place to put Ammo Boxes in this area? A great hiding spot. Thanks Cindy!
