About This Item

Stinkpot

Stinkpot is a very smelly container that is sealed from the elements. To retrieve the tracking code, you will have to open the pot!

Contained inside the pot is Asafoetida - a harmless (indeed, edible) tree resin!

However, this tree resin smells so much it is often referred to as Devils Dung!

This TB stinks, and I mean that in a nice way 💀. Will make sure this one is dropped off soon, yuk. LOL

Glad to get this one out of our caching bag as it was starting to get a bit musty 💀.

We replaced the ziplock bag as the old one would not close so at least it's airtight now 🙂.

The TB is now sitting at the end of a great nightcache on Nescliffe Hill in sunny Shropshire awaiting it's next victim.

Used to use this quite a bit in Indian cooking as a student but had forgotten quite how bad it smells. It's a lot nicer when heated up while cooking and gives a great flavour to curries.

Will drop off in a new cache very soon as we'll be glad to get it out of the Jeep as it's giving off quite a smell even when the tub is shut 😁.

Edible - you've got to be joking! Managed to drop Stinkpot off on the way home!

This one certainly does what it says on the tin! Anyway, rescued it from Emma's Cache (Lee and Greens Moor Quarry) where it had been festering for a while.
