GC76MET Traditional Cache "A Series of Unfortunate Caches #2"

GC1WPMJ Traditional Cache #1 - The Salem Witch Trials Cache
  Salem, MA
CO: Team PhiltopiaLA
Located in the poignant outdoor surroundings of the Salem Witch Trials Tercenternary Memorial adjacent the Charter Street Old Burying Point.

The Charter Street Historic District is a designated U.S. Historic District on the National Park Service's U.S. National Register of Historic Places and a mecca for Colonial witch-trial historians and tourists.

Come see the granite memorial bench for Corey Giles, pressed to death in 1692 for refusing to plead to his charge of being a warlock. While being pressed, when asked if he was ready to plead, he sarcastically responded, "More weight." Who doesn't appreciate a 17th-century Colonial-American smart ass?

While in town, visit The House of the Seven Gables where American novelist Nathaniel Hawthorne spent considerable time in his youth and Henry Wadsworth Longfellow drew inspiration for several poems.

GC3ANTM Traditional Cache 3 foot rock
  Denton, TX
CO: uggnugg
A top-notch and very unique example of repurposing an everyday item into a well-placed, creatively-camouflaged and fascinating urban geocache. This is a wonderful sample of the cache owner's evil hiding style and passion for creating camouflage.

GC1X3MW Traditional Cache 40 Love&Walker
  Ardmore, OK
CO: TeamSlow
There is nothing fancy about this Walker Park geocache. No beautiful scenery, no historical value, no interesting pop art. It's simply a perfect placement that will leave you banging your head on the ground and then laughing in relief after you find the container...if you find the container.

GC5MBWM Traditional Cache 9 Lives in Oak Hill Cemetery
  Cameron, TX
CO: dilloman

GCZGZD Unknown Cache A.T.M

An absolutely unique geocache placement. If you enjoy the eccentric, unique and completely hidden in plain sight, then you'll love this one-of-a-kind geocahing experience.

GCK255 Traditional Cache All The World's a Stage
  Flower Mound, TX
CO: Rock Hounds 5
A serene setting and rustic outdoor performing arts venue in the Samuel Lusk Outdoor Theatre, reminiscent of the great European and Shakesperean outdoor theaters.

GC2K78X Traditional Cache Are you sure there is a cache here?
  Lewisville, TX
CO: auctnr
One of the most ingenious geocaches I have ever found with a uniquely fun camouflage technique while hidden under the noses of pedestrians.

GCB5DE Virtual Cache Art at the Station

GCB6A8 Virtual Cache Barney Smith's Toilet Seat Museum
  Alamo Heights, TX
CO: cybercat

GCF75A Traditional Cache Beavertail Light
  Jamestown, RI
CO: Gsridge

As the 3rd oldest lighthouse in America, Beavertail has continously sat along the rocky shores of the southern tip of Conanicut Island since 1749.

In the beautiful Beavertail State Park, the 45-foot-tall lighthouse illuminates the way for sea captains entering the west and east passages of Narragansett Bay.

The light makes a full conter clockwise rotation every seven seconds. This is a must-do geocache for, not only lighthouse enthusiasts, but history buffs and ocean lovers.

GC7MDYF Unknown Cache Beware of Sleeping Pterodactyls

GC829D Virtual Cache Bi-State
  Texarkana, AR
CO: rusty_da_dog
An interesting mix of geography, architecture, history and government jurisdictions.

The marker is on the grounds of the U.S. Post Office and Courthouse, which physically occupies both states of Arkansas and Texas. The building is listed on the National Park Service's U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

GC2T1NG Earthcache Black Tom Island
  Jersey City, NJ
CO: Going Coastal

Located in Liberty State Park along the Hudson River Waterfront Walk and the NY-NJ Harbor Estuary Trail, this earthcache is one of eleven in the park.

This earthcache has a little of everything...geology, ecology, industrial and railroad history and politics. A must-do earthcache for geocachers and geology, eco-history or maritime aficionados.

If that's not enough, you can enjoy fishing and picnics on the piers and jetties and spectacular views of New York Harbor, the Hudson River, the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Governors Island, Staten Island and the ferries, the Manhattan skyline and the new World Trade Tower, Brooklyn and the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge.

GC7B0B Virtual Cache Boulder Overlook
  Boulder, CO
CO: iwcotton
A winding tree and boulder-lined switchback drive through scenic Boulder Mountain Park, providing a great view of the city of Boulder and the University of Colorado.

GCWGBP Traditional Cache Brigadoon
  The Colony, TX
CO: Geo Dee
A conceptual geocache based on the Alan Jay Lerner story of Brigadoon, a fictional Scottish village that only appears one day every one hundred years.

Fortunately, for geocachers, this unique geocache once appeared more frequently at one day every month.

However, with GeoDee's passing in May of 2013, this fun geocache is lost forever.
