Une balade de +/- 700 m (aller) en direction du ponceau de Seumoy, qui enjambe le Houyoux entre les fermes de Seumoy et Saint-Martin sur la commune de La Bruyère. N'hésitez pas à poursuivre votre chemin pour découvrir les autres caches plus au nord.
On ne peut pas vraiment donner d'âge fixe (XVIIe ? XVIIIe ?) à ce petit ouvrage de pierre mais son existence est en tout cas mentionnée sur une carte de Belgique de 1834.
En 2006-2007, des stagiaires en restauration, recrutés via l'ALE (Agence Locale pour l'Emploi), ont remis en état ce patrimoine local. Durant les travaux de réhabilition, des poutres en chêne d'origine servant de "coffrage anti-érosion" ont été découvertes sous le pont.

Een wandeling van + / - 700 m (one-way) naar de Ponceau du Seumoy (kleine brug), die de Houyoux tussen de boerderijen Seumoy en St. Martin in het centrum van La Bruyere overspant. Voel je vrij om verder te gaan naar andere caches te ontdekken verder in het noorden.
Er kan geen echte leeftijd aan de brug geven. Zeventiende eeuw ? Achttiende? Maar in ieder geval is het brug vermeld op een kaart van België uit 1834.
In 2006-2007 hebben enkele stagiairs aangeworven het plaatselijke erfgoed gerenoveerde. Tijdens de werken werden de originele eiken balken gebruikt als "anti-erosiesysteem" onder de brug ontdekt .

A walk of + / - 700 m (one-way) to the Ponceau du Seumoy (little bridge), which spans over the Houyoux between the farms of Seumoy and St. Martin in the town of La Bruyere. Feel free to continue your way to discover the other caches farther north.
Nobody can really give an age to the bridge (Seventeenth century ? Eighteenth?). but this small stone structurew is already mentionned on a 1834 map of Belgium.
In 2006-2007, some stagiairs have renovated the local heritage. During works,the original oak beams used as "anti-erosionsystems" have been discovered under the bridge.
