Geocache Description:

This was placed in honor of our children who tend to whine every time we want to go geocaching. They usually end up having fun in the end. We hope you will too. While you're here, look for the multi cache here -My Cap's Off to You. There is also a letter box series here that you might want to try.

This is in the east side of the Naugatuck State Forest. You can park in two different spots- one is off 42 (much shorter trip but not a lot of parking in the pull off) or off of 63 where there's actually a parking area. Parking for 63 is at N 41 27.810 W 072 59.795. Follow the yellow trail to begin with. This is off of the blue trail. You will be looking for a ammo can. ( Aren't you glad it's not one of our micros in the woods?) It's stocked with stuff mostly for kids but there are some adult items there. Enjoy!! This could be slippery with some snow on the ground. Wear your orange during hunting season, even on Sunday's even though you're not supposed to hunt on Sunday's. I saw a hunter coming out of the woods after getting the parking coords on Rt 42.
