DO NOT GO IN THE WATER!
Unique rock formation accompanied by some very deceptive currents. During the summer this is a very popular beach area for sun bathers. DO NOT TRY TO WADE OUT TO THE ROCKS! The sand bar moves depending on the direction of the wind and the currents can be very dangerous. STAY OUT of the water.
(That's my former lifeguard speach for the day). The rock formation (third rock) usually has a graduation year painted on it. During the Summer the number changes almost weekly with each class reunion meeting in town. They use a boat to get to the rocks. Do not try to swim in these waters. Many people have drowned trying to get to the rocks.
