A natural beauty spot situated 18 km south-west of George. Offering
very safe, protected sea bathing and a tidal pool, Herold's Bay is
not only popular for its open beaches and interesting rock pools,
but is well-known for its fishings spots.
Take the R404 to Herolds Bay, Turn right at S 34 02.983, E 22
22.210 onto a good dirt road. The road will take you around the
hill to the seaside view of Herolds Bay. Park at S 34 03.603, E 22
22.798. The cache has been hidden close to the cliff, so watch your
step!

Small note on cache maintenance: Please take note
that although the owner of this cache stays some distance from the
cache, special arrangements have been made to maintain the cache,
should it be necessary. Fellow cachers, friends and family in the
vicinity will do the honours. Cache placements in South Africa are
minimal related to the number of cachers playing the treasure hunt
game especially in the Garden Route area. We will be placing at
least 27 caches during this December 2006 holiday season – so watch
