Where Did I Leave My Golf Cart ?
Lost in
the rain forests west of Brisbane is a slowly decaying relic of
days gone by.
The walk
to find the cache hidden here is a stroll through time itself. A
moderately easy walk through primordial forests teeming with
wildlife and plants of amazing variety. You are sure to lose track
of time as you stroll, surrounded by the cool and intense greenery
of the jungle.
Start on
the Mt Glorious Road at approximately S27 17.853 E152 45.238, where
you will find ample parking.
Pass the
gate and walk 60 metres along the fire trail. It is at this point
you will find the portal into another world leading off to the
right. This track will take you the 1.6 kilometres to find the golf
cart.
After
finding the cache and filling in the log book to record your visit,
please take care to return the cache to it's place in the cart so
it is well concealed.
