Hopefully this is the first of a series of caches to help highlight the fairly substantial medical device industry in Shelby County.

When Mrs. worked at the nearby facility, it was known as Dow Corning Wright. At that time, the manufacturer made a number of silicone implants, as well as knees and hips that are still made at Wright Medical Technology today.
