Geocache Description:

The posted coordinates are for suggested parking. See below for how to locate cache.

PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO DO THIS CACHE FROM LOCKS POINT PARK.

PARKING FOR BELLS MILL PARK IS ON ALBEMARLE DRIVE NEAR CITY HALL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Easy walk across and open field in Bells Mill Park. A little elevation change since this used to be a land fill but nothing too bad. There is a "jogging/walking trail" marked by signs that is mown in the summer. You do not have to stick to this trail if you do not wish. Be sure to walk along the tree line to take advantage of the view of the Locks. There is no fence or signs posted but please do not decend the hill or approach the locks from this location. Also please do not try to reach this cache from Locks Point Park. You will get very wet and attract a lot of attention from the Army Corp of Engineers who manage the locks. A variety of the ususal trade items in a Lock n Lock container.

Park is open sunrise to sunset. There are gates at the parking lot so don't get locked in. It is a huge park but seems to get very little use. Cache is at north thirty six degrees forty three point three one eight minutes, and west seventy six degrees fourteen point eight six three minutes.

Once again PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE ARMY CORP OF ENGINEERS PROPERTY!!!!! Bells Mill park is located off Albemarle Drive. Parking lot is just past the jail and Tidewater Detention Center.

This cache was changed to a puzzle with the parking coords as the posted coords because several cachers were crossing Army Corp of Engineers property to access the cache site. Please park at Bell's Mill Park parking lot and use the coords in the text above to find the cache. Happy hunting.
