Geocache Description:

This cache is in mature woodland. The paths are well used if muddy in places after heavy rain. GPS signal is poor in places

This cache is called “The back of the Wood” because my mother’s family lived in a cottage not far from the final cache site known by that name.

The path you will follow was their daily route to the “Wagon Load of Lime”, at that time run by my grandmother’s sister, and all the village amenities school, shops, church etc.

As much of the walk is in mature woodland weak GPS signal will be an issue. Parking is in front of the "Wagon Load of Lime" pub and the path starts to the left of the pub.
