Down in the Wood Traditional Cache
Sussex Biker: Went to check yesterday and it's definitely nowhere to be found. There are signs everywhere about keeping to the footpath that weren't there before (I don't think it's the landowner more likely to be the strange goings on that happen nearby) so I'm going to archive it. It's a nice wood to walk through especially in the spring. You can walk from Michelham Priory to Knockhatch through this wood.

A fairly level walk with several access points. Can be muddy, not really suitable for bikes or pushchairs
The cache is a round tub about 6" diameter and 6" deep. There are several routes that can be taken to find the cache. There are two attractions that could be visited, when open, on two of the routes. These are Knockhatch and Michelham Priory. Both have parking but I haven't checked whether this would be available for non-customers. There are a lot of good walks in the area. When placed the cache contained: Harvey Moon Junior TB, personal fm radio, foreign coins, phone charm, keyring, Heinz toy van, X-Men toy, Logbook pen and pencil
