Geocache Description:


The Powell Falls dam in River Falls is located on the Kinnickinnic River near Glen Park. You can park at a couple different trailheads, one near the park at: N44 51.064 W092 38.182 or off River Ridge Rd. at: N44 50.803 W092 38.376. The lake formed by this dam is Lake Louise, and you can find a variety of wildlife there. The trails here are quite scenic - take time to explore them all. You should be able to get a nice view of the dam and falls any time of the year.

Depending on conditions (snow, rain, and the like) the trails may be a bit slick - just take care. No need to do any bushwacking - the cache (a small) is reachable off the trail. Take care in rehiding as you find it and use stealth if others are enjoying the trails.
