On Kaipara Coast Highway (SH 16), 20 minutes north of Helensville
The Omeru Scenic Reserve is just 5km from Kaukapakapa township with two streams, waterfalls, a pa site and picnic area.
Access to the cache is via a footpath though the cache itself is located just off the path. However if you do the complete loop there are some sections of track which are not wheel chair or push chair friendly. You do not need to do the complete track to get the cache however it is recommended.
Car parking is easy though I would not leave any valuables in the car as the carpark is very close to SH 16 and thus an easy target for villains.
At the time of planting the cache I had very few objects available so I'm afriad its a little empty - just a pad, pencil and a pedometer.
Also note that at time of hiding I could not get an accuracy of more than 7.4 meters :(
