Be sure to wear some boots! A two-stage multi in the previously uncached area just east of Adamsville. The first stage is near the parking for the State Gamelands off of a dirt road. You can't miss the lot. While caching, be sure to visit the Crooked Creek dam and levee system. This dam helps create the swamps to the north.
This cache is placed in honor of my caching cousin, AZGeckoGirl! I am very proud of her accomplishments in caching since I introduced her to the sport a few years ago. Since then she has far surpassed me in number of finds and even more importantly, she met her husband, AZCachemeister, as a result of Geocaching! Their wedding was an event cache in the beautiful Arizona mountains!

I am flattered that Algoma! has placed this in my honor. I consider this to be a cache in honor of not me alone, but of us as caching cousins and to all caching cousins. It was 3 years ago, nearly on the date of this placement, that I found my first cache, with Algoma! as my guide. I was hooked. Two days later, I became an official geocacher, looked to see what was ahead in AZ, and read a log entry by a cacher who was to later turn into my husband (wow, who knew?).
