Geocache Description:

Stage 1

At the posted coordinates, you will find a sign in a lovely city park at the center of downtown Fort Lauderdale. The sign tells you about the history of this park and of the people who donated it to the city.

Use the sign to decode the following message:

9-3 34-1 18-2 39-5 73-3 61-5 42-1 24-4 / 77-3 1-5 67-5 56-5

75-1 36-3 / 20-2 47-1 50-7 12-1 76-4

64-2 10-9 25-6 42-3 23-3 / 69-5 52-1 8-1 28-7

Stage 2

Go to the entrance of the location identified on the sign in stage 1. If the location is open when you arrive, you can take a time-out from this cache and go on a guided tour to learn more about the people described at stage 1.

Stage 3

The message you decrypted at stage 1 is a set of directions to the container, starting from stage 2. You're looking for a nano tube. The container is available 24/7. Log only, bring your own pen.

There are public parking spaces along the streets of downtown as well as in public parking garages. Your best option is just southeast of the posted coordinates, in the public garage on SE 2 St, between SE 1 Ave and SE 2 Ave, adjacent to the public library. It's easy to find - SE 2 St goes directly through the garage. All three stages are in easy walking distance of that garage. Parking is available at stage 2, but only if you're going to take a tour of the location.

All stages are accessible via wheelchair. While it is possible to get from the first stage to the last in a wheelchair, they're probably a bit too far apart if you're pushing one by hand. If your mobility is limited, driving between the stages might be a better option.
