Geocache Description:

Poricy Fossil Beds, Middletown. A hike in the creek is necessary. Suitable for children; there may be downed trees to climb over.

Bring boots or sandals for this one! Located in the Poricy Fossil Beds in Middletown, finding this cache can be made into a nice afternoon activity. You will be required to cross the creek and walk in it to find the cache. Depending on the conditions, the water can be very low (even dry) to rather high. You will not be in water any deeper than several inches. Please take the time to hunt for fossils on your way to the cache. The kids will love to do this! Shark teeth among others are common. You may leave your findings in the cache and trade for others if you'd like. Visit the Poricy Park website and please abide by their rules.
