Lembro que o "desarquivamento" de uma cache, e a sua eventual consequente reactivação, passa pelo mesmo processo de análise como se fosse uma nova cache, com todas as implicações que as guidelines indicam.

Se no local existe algum container, por favor recolha-o a fim de evitar que se torne lixo (geolitter).

Capela de São Sebastião Autor: Pedro Cabral

Capela de São Sebastião - Barcarena

Pequeno templo de planta circular dedicado a S. Sebastião, protector das pestes e dos artilheiros. Desconhece-se a data da sua fundação, embora uma das lajes tumulares, localizada na passadeira central da capela tenha data de 1599. O edifício foi acrescentado e remodelado durante o século XVIII e o início do século seguinte. Merecem especial relevo: os silhares de azulejos (inicio do século XIX), o púlpito e uma pia de pedra (século XVII), excelente trabalho de escultura, com decoração de folhagem e de flores variadas em acentuado relevo. A capela pertence à paróquia de Barcarena. CLASSIFICAÇÃO: Imóvel de valor concelhio, de acordo com o Edital nº 184/2004 (2ª série), publicado no Diário da República, Nº 67, II Série, 19 de Março de 2004.

Depois de visitar a capela em N 38° 43,974 W 009° 16,721 , pode iniciar a busca à cache. Esta encontra-se a cerca de 50 metros.

Saint Sebastião Chapel - Barcarena

A small circular temple dedicated to Saint Sebastião patron saint of plagues and artillerymen. It seems to have been a windmill to which a small nave, later transformed into an altar, was joined . There are no certainties about the date of its erection and the only reference, which permits to establish one, is a tombstone in the paving dated 1599. The building was extended and remodelled at the end of the 17th century. Elements that are worthy of note are the tiles (from the beginning of the 19th century), the pulpit and a stone font from the 17th century.
