"Down and Dirty in McDonald"
Was formally know as "Ronald mconald still doesn't live here" The
second cache in my hometown of McDonald.
On the East side of McDonald Woodland Park you will find the
baseball fields. Beyond the ball fields are the mountain bike
trails. Not far from the trail head and slightly east is a lightly
visible trail (sometimes not visible at all). This is the area to
start looking in. The heavy tree cover will throw off most GPS's so
this is real "hide and seek" type of cache. As much luck in the
look, as in GPS accuracy will be needed. You will know you are
close when you see a partially exposed cement culvert. The cache is
a green plastic container about quart size hidden at ground level.
This is for all the real geocacher's, who like going on trails,
through woods and getting dirty. Try it after a rain or snow for
some real fun.
Parking may be hard to come by during baseball and softball season.
The park closes and is patrolled by McDonald police at dark, so no
night caching here. Please re-hide cache as found.
