This is a 1.4 mile round trip hike. The first .3 miles in is a strenuous climb (about 200' increase in elevation). Total increase from parking to cache is about 300' over .7 miles. Lace up your boots nice and snug for good support over some of the rockier parts of the trail.
Park at posted coords and hit the trail. At about .5 miles take the left fork (this should be the second left). This hike will be entirely in the park until the last 800 feet. I made sure to hide the cache off park property along Horseshoe Trail.
The cache will not be hard to find. I really intended this to be more about the hike. It is beautiful here and I did not see a single piece of trash. If you love to hike, you won't be sorry you came.
