The Tony Canale Park is a very nice gathering spot for local residents. I had a cache in this park a few years back that only lasted a month so thought it was time to try out this location once again in hopes of a longer run this time. During the summer weekly music concerts are given from the outdoor stage overlooking a grassy hill. There are tennis courts, soccer fields and a playground. Adjacent to the park is the Anthony Canale Training Center where firemen from Atlantic County are sent for their training and many other public safety training courses are also taught. Tony Canale was a very well known life long local resident who was the driving force behind the development of the nearby Bargaintown Volunteer fire department and other community activities. Both of these facilities were named in his honor.
This cache is just down the street from my High Wire II cache and is a small plastic vitamin container a short walk from one of the parking lots. The muggle factor can be high depending on when you visit with the playground and parking lots close by the cache site.
