This is an easy, family friendly cache located in a beautiful park (M-NCPPC Approved). It can be accessed from either county.
The theme is, well, wheels! And you will see why when you get near this spot. But anything to do with transportation is fine.
The clear plastic box contains a number of new items to start off with and we may add more later. They are all related to transportation of one sort or another. We hope all future trades will also have to do with transportation. Here are some ideas for trading, matchbox and hotwheel type vehicles, stickers (trains, boats, motorcycles OK too), car games, key chains, etc, etc.
Be creative. If you leave a pencil, tell us it is to play car games. Silly putty would be for the kids to play with while they ride. And, of course, all travel bugs have to do with transportation.
Many nice trails wind through the woods near the cache. No need to bushwhack more than a few feet, and then it isn’t bad. We have seen many birds in the park, including a Pileated Woodpecker going into his hole in a tree.
