Laurel Springs Overlook
Although this cache gets it's name from nearby laurel Springs,
the spectacular views more prominently feature the Goleta Valley
and the Western Channel Islands beyond. To the West, there is also
a great view of Lake Cachuma and the area of my Brush Peak cache.
From the trailhead at the intersection of Painted Cave road and
Camino Cielo, it's a nice walk of less than 1/2 mile through mixed
Chaparral and Pine trees to the hilltop. There is a nice picnic
table there to fill out the log and sit and enjoy the view and a
snack.
