This cache is placed near but not in a old smokehouse.It should be easy to find. My three kids and I placed this cache here to let other people know about this unique site. The terrain is fairly easy to traverse but use caution as there are two abandon wells that are filled in near this cache. The short trail to this cache begins at these stone steps fifty feet past a fire hydrant very near the end of the road.
P.S 1/12/07 I found out from a old timer in the area that this property was a resort built just after the civil war. There were many cabins on the property that people would enjoy in the summer, and one cacher wanted to know if this is a smokehouse or a icehouse the evidence is hanging from the ceiling. I was told that this place closed in early 1930's
