A camo'd thermos out in the Gamelands, filled with some nice trade items. A short hike to get there, but not too hard to find once you are close.
You all know how it is. We were hiking back to the van after visiting dealhound's cache "Sandhills 'Walk in the Woods'" (Waypoint GCXV78 0.2 miles away from this one. The two caches would make a pretty good twofer, if you ask me) and when I saw this particular place, I thought "Well that's a nice place for a cache." It's up off the ground in case of a controlled burn, not a lot of leaf cover, rather isolated so as to avoid muggles. So I set a waypoint and vowed to come back and place a cache. Today I have.
ADDENDUM 10/02/2009 : Went to check on this one after reports that it had been caught in a controlled burn. The original nice place for a cache is completely gone!! The cache was replaced at the same coordinates, next to the stump of what used to be. Now it's not as nice a place for a cache, but it's still a place.
