I would not bring the family to this cache as there really is
nothing for you to do but walk in the mud and muck.
UGLY PARK
This has to be one of the ugliest parks in the whole state of
Delaware. The neighborhood around it is not that great as you will
find cars on jacks and abandoned cars abound. Once you get to the
park there is not much to the location, just a sign stating this is
a facility less park. You will find there is used tires and other
assorted trash about. People have not treated this park well as
there are old dilapidated tree houses and other abandoned
items...
UGLY CACHE
The cache container is the ugliest I could find and should not
be too hard to find. Please keep this cache well hidden as I would
like it to last as long as possible.
UGLY COIN
If you make it to the cache and find the container there is one
ugly coin waiting to be seen. This is the one the only 2005 DelUgly
(1 of only 120 made) attached to the cache container. The first and
only coin designed to be ugly! The idea was that if we made a coin
ugly enough people might not steal it and would leave it in the
caches where coins belong. Write the coin number down and feel free
to log it as discovered.
I am hoping people will leave Black colored items to keep the
coin company.
NOTE: Remember beauty is in the eye of the beholder, one persons
ugly is another’s beauty, you be the judge!
There ARE 2 sub containers in the main container, one container
has the Delugly in it (Please don't take the coin, or remove it
from the cable!), the other is your normal cache container with the
log book and the swag! Please be sure both are sealed before you
close the main container and place it back.
