Located in the Tiadaghton State Forest
A 4 wheel drive vehicle is recommended. Roads are dirt, stone, gravel mix. Cache can be accessed from PA Route 414 North. Turn is located on the left approximately 1/4 mile from the Jersey Mills bridge. The forestry road is called Sinking Springs Road. Follow this to Spur Vista road. Follow Spur Vista road to end. This is the shortest way from the Pine Creek Valley, however during the winter months snow cover could make the road treacherous because of the lengthy steep ascent. The cache can also be accessed from Zinc Fork Road either from Route 44 at Tiadaghton Sportsmen sign, or at the top of the mountain in Haneyville from Zinc fork Road take Browns Run Road to Sinking Springs Road to Spur Vista Road. Follow to end. This route is less hilly with no straight down drops.
Cache is .50 Cal. Ammo Box stocked full of goodies. A FTF prize is available. Cache is a short distance from the Vista. Take a chair with you, you'll want to sit there and take in the view of the Pine Creek Valley below.
