This is about a 1 mile easy hike up the old hwy now closed to auto traffic.. Cache is a large Ammo Can. Easy on and off in either direction of I-84. Parking is on the south side of Exit 56.
This is a nice easy hike. You will be hiking the old hwy which is mostly paved and winds up the gorge. Although this hike can be some what noisy from the near by freeway traffic, the old hwy rises onto the hill sides which in turn provide some great views of the Columbia River Gorge. Watch small children and blind running dogs since there are areas of cliffs near by. Watch for the occasional Alien and please rehide well in same location. Plenty of parking just east of this cache, but is for day use only. Use the hint only if you have too since it pretty much leads you to the cache without a GPS. Lots of trees so GPS might bounce around a bit. Happy Hunting
