HUSBAND NINE:
This man wore a ring on his left fourth finger.
Sleek and gold, the promise was forever.
But soon it tarnished, because all his passion,
All his zeal,
Was spent on cachin'!
Husband, he was not—just an imperfect man.
The ring he wore, a cruel sham.
His tender vows far past remembered,
I reclaimed the ring—
(The finger, as you see, got slightly dismembered).
Oh, all you out there: don’t share Danny’s fate!
I pray to heaven it’s not too late.
Just keep in mind this sage advice—
A HAPPY WIFE MEANS A HAPPY LIFE.
Cache contents: eyeballs, fingers, teeth, mustache, log book and pencil.
