Geocache Description:

North Carolina Central Area Cache Keepers and Loggers Enterprise (NC-CACKLE) is a loosely formed group of cachers dedicated to the betterment of Geocaching in the Sanford/Lee County and surrounding area.

This one is at Triangle Land Conservancy off of hwy 421 south. A Deep River McIver-pronounced (Mc-eever) Landing Canoe and Kayak Access found in 1983.

Gave it some thought, the location of this cache would make a good Travel Bug Hotel.

*******PLEASE TRADE OUT TB'S OR COINS THAT YOU TAKE SO OTHERS THAT VISIT CAN HAVE SOMETHING TO TRADE OUT TOO.*******

This was first Geocache trip our puppy went on. Her name is Sammie Sue, she even brought us a few things to camo it.
This cache is a 30mm ammo can.

Owned by TLC, acquired through purchase in 1999 as part of the Deep River Campaign
Description Bottomland hardwood forest. Provides a safe and legal canoe and kayak access to the Deep River. TLC's local McIver Landing partners - Deep River Park Association and Rock Rest Adventures - will manage the access area. Thanks to Progress Energy, the Woodson Family Foundation, the NC Adopt-A-Trail program, and Chatham County Travel & Tourism for funding the construction of the canoe and kayak access. Thanks also to the John R. McAdams Company, which provided pro bono site design and engineering, and to Rayvon King and the J.R. Moore & Son store, which stored supplies throughout the project.
