Woodstown is known for many things, including beautiful historic
homes and churches, a quaint downtown shopping area, its annual
candlelight tours, and the Cowtown Rodeo and Farmers/Flea Market.
The families that live here are proud of their community and work
hard to advance their town in the areas of economics, education,
and the arts. Known for having a small town feeling, residents here
are not troubled with many of the problems that come with living in
a large city.
One day as we passed through Woodstown, we were surprised to see
a sign that indicated a Park and Ride. Now we would expect to see
that sort of thing in Cherry Hill or Lindenwold, but Woodstown?
More often than not, the field, ummm, parking lot, is completely
empty. We have occasionally seen youngsters kicking a soccer ball
around or a few fishermen on the banks of the Salem River.
This cache is one of the sproutlets from SJG - Tom's PPPPPPPPP
Seed Pod Cache (waypoint: GC107FQ) by thimbles. We recently picked
up a few containers from this seed cache to plant. So, many of you
will know what type of container you are searching for. The cache
contains a small logbook, a couple of pencils, pencil sharpener,
and a silica bag. There are also a couple of McBucks for the FTF to
grab a beverage across the street. Additionally, there are a few
Chuck E Cheese coins for some of the younger cachers. Please
remember to close the container tightly and hide well.
