Llyn Blaenelindwr has wild brown trout and is heavily weeded in places. Fly, spinning and worm fishing is allowed and it is ideal for senior citizens or disabled anglers requiring easy access and obstacle-free fishing. Permits available from the Aberystwyth Angling Association.
The are is also very popular with mountain-bikers and is the intersection of a number of popular cycle trails. Keep an eye out for muggles, especially the two-wheeled variety.
