Geocache Description:

Beautiful park with an awesome lake on the north side of Galesburg. Cache is wheelchair accessible with a slight slope.

This park was donated to the city of Galesburg by the Santa Fe railroad. It was also named after the president of the Santa Fe railroad at that time. To find the cache you have to visit a monument donated by the city of Galesburg in honor of W.B. Storey.

To find the cache go to the monument and record the last two dates on the monument. Take the two dates and multiply them. You will end up with a 7 digit number.

The final is at
N40 5(E+F).(A-C)(A+E+C)(B-A-E)
W090 2(F-E).(F+D)(G+D)(D)

The formula is A B C D E F G
A=the first digit, B=the second digit, C=the third digit, D= the fourth digit ... and so on

If you can't find the cache, enjoy the park. It's worth the trip. If you like trains visit in June during Railroad Days. This year it's June 23 & 24th. If you want more info on the local fun visit N 40 56.864 W090 20.220 (The visitors center) While you're there, grab a cache.
