Geocache Description:

I have to marvel at what the pioneers along the Oregon Trail had to overcome just to make the journey to Oregon. They made the trek through this area on the south side of the river but this spot, being relatively untouched by man, shows a little of what they must of faced. The cache is in a jar painted green filled with small trade items. The road out to the cache is very rough so I wouldn't bring the family car. When you find it, take a little time and transport yourself back a 150 years and picture what it must have been like!
