This cache is located on the San Simeon nature trail loop.
Parking is free at the Washburn Day Use Area (N 35 35.674 W 121 07.445)
This is a beautiful 3.5 mile loop. You will walk along Pine Ridge, into Fern Gully where you will walk across Willow Bridge to Huff & Puff Hill,
around the Washburn Campground and onto Whitaker Flatts. There are lots of interpretive panels and benches along the entire loop.
Take the boardwalk path to the wetlands, picking up Boardwalk (GCGG8Q), and finish with Whitaker Ranch (GCTYZD) and return to the parking area walking parallel to Washburn Campground Road.
