To find this cache start on hwy 178 between onyx Chevron station and Cottage groe cemetary. The entrance is a small dirt lane at waypoint N35-41.766 W118-12.913 this a short 1/4 mile sandy lane easy for a passenger car. Park at the gate to the ecological reserve (open to public for walking) go over, under or around the gate this is a 20 minute .63 mile walk plus a five minute climb. Follow the wash on your right until the point of rocks meets the wash, up over the lip to your right and look southeast to the toe of the mountain which actually is a seperate hill (it's closer than it looks and the easy slope up is on the left side) Your GPS will guide you the rest of the way
